Present: Board members Asmus, Bruce, Carpenter, Carter, Chamberlin, Gray, Rose, Sachsse, Vitt, and Williams; Administrators Gersen, Aubin, Recorded by R. Lohr
1. Call to order – Board Chair Robert Bruce called the meeting to order at 10:00 PM.
2. Business Requiring Discussion
The Board discussed the Susan Finer retirement ceremony set for June 13 at 5:00 PM. The Board agreed to get a bowl from Simon Pearce and have it inscribed. Board members suggested several collect different quotes that might be inscribed. It was agreed to place the various suggested quotes in a bowl and give it to Mrs. Finer so she could choose her favorite quote and the Board will have it inscribed on the bowl.
The Board also discussed inviting Norwich and Hanover Selectboard members and some past school board members to the ceremony.
3. Business Requiring Action
A motion was made by Nancy Carter and seconded by Linda Gray to approve the dedication naming of the Richmond School auditorium as the Susan B. Finer Theater. The motion was passed unanimously.
4. Adjournment
A motion was made by Nancy Carter and seconded by Linda Gray to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
The Dresden School Board meeting was adjourned at 10:10 PM.
