Present: Board members Asmus, Bruce, Carter, Chamberlin, Cheney, Fleischer, Gray, Kaplan, Pilchman, Sachsse, Vitt; Administrators Gersen, Weissmann, Brush, Gillespie, Finer; and 12 members of the public. Recorded by R. Lohr
- Call to order – Nancy Carter called the meeting to order at 6:47 p.m.
- Nomination of Curriculum Coordinator
Superintendent Gersen recognized Joanne Roberts’ work on curriculum documents related to the Mathematics Committee and recommended that she be nominated as the SAU 70 Curriculum Coordinator for 2005-06 as detailed in documents attached to the original meeting minutes. Dr. Gersen noted that Joanne displayed great passion for the task and has harmonized a diversity of teachers in her efforts. Her work as Math Curriculum Leader will be used as a prototype for other curriculum areas as they develop their final versions of the curriculum and Districtwide assessments.
Linda Gray moved and John Chamberlin seconded a motion to elect Joanne Roberts as a Curriculum Coordinator at a salary of $14,198.40 for the 2005-2006 school year. The motion passed unanimously.
John Chamberlin moved and Larry Pilchman seconded a motion to adjourn at 6:56 p.m. The motion passed unanimously.
