Hanover High School is the only public high school in the Dresden School District, in Hanover, New Hampshire, USA. In 1963 it became the first interstate high school in the country as part of a bill that was the last ever signed into action by John F. Kennedy. Today it accepts students from several communities in New Hampshire and Vermont. Enrollment is approximately 786 students, the majority of whom come from the towns of Hanover, NH and Norwich, VT. The school also serves the town of Lyme, NH, which has no high school of its own. 11% of the student body attends on a tuition basis from towns such as Cornish, NH, Strafford, VT, Hartland, VT, and Piermont, NH. The school employs 79 full-time faculty members.
