Dear SAU 70 School Community,
We continue to prepare for our transition to remote learning, which will commence on Monday. You will be receiving information from your school(s) regarding the details of remote learning - in fact many of you have already. This approach to teaching and learning is new to most of us, so there may be a period of trial and error as we implement new practices and employ new technology tools. We hope you will share feedback as we get underway, and will do our best to adjust as necessary. Many of our teachers will be using video conferencing tools to communicate with students and to conduct virtual meetings. Please know that if you have privacy concerns related to video conferencing, you should contact your school principal. In addition to academic instruction, we hope to continue to provide counseling support. Our counselors stand ready to serve the community and have shared important information in the attached letter.
We continue to adapt to this situation day-by-day. Our teachers, counselors, support staff, and administrators have done an amazing job responding to this crisis, and I am truly grateful for all of the offers of help from our parents and community. Let's continue to practice social distancing, and work together to support our children.
