During some pay periods (such as those containing holidays or school breaks), there are fewer hours worked, leading to a smaller paycheck. Since these paychecks are smaller, we temporarily limit deductions to help stabilize your take-home pay, and only required deductions (such as federal/state taxes, FICA, and Medicare) will be processed. During these pay periods, all other voluntary deductions (such as insurance contributions) are suspended and will resume with your next regular pay period.
This adjusted deduction schedule applies to all union support staff (both hourly and equalized pay) during the following periods:
Pay period 5 (8/17 - 8/30/25)
Pay period 14 (12/21/25 - 1/3/26)
Pay period 18 (2/15 - 2/28/26)
Pay period 22 (4/12 - 4/25/26)
Pay period 26 (6/7 - 6/20/26)
