NEW PRINCIPAL CHOSEN FOR RICHMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL
New Principal Coming Home to Hanover
Hanover, NH, April 30, 2019
At the Dresden School Board Meeting, on Tuesday, April 30th, SAU 70 Superintendent, Jay Badams recommended, and the board unanimously approved Timothy Boyle as the next principal of Richmond Middle School.
“Although Tim will be joining us after successfully serving as an administrator in a large middle school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, his appointment is a homecoming,” said Badams. “Tim is a 1985 graduate of Hanover High School and still has strong connections to the area. In fact, some of his former teachers will now be his colleagues.”
Mr. Boyle brings a diverse background to his new role at RMS; he has not only served as a public school history teacher, dean, and assistant principal, but has also spent many years working in higher education in both athletics and academics. Community involvement has long been a priority for Tim, and he has devoted a great deal of time as a coach and referee in both hockey and soccer.
“The Dresden School Board thanks the search committee and the community for their active participation in the search process,” said Dresden Board Chair, Neil Odell. “We're very excited to welcome Tim Boyle to Richmond Middle School. His background and experience made him a top choice of the search committee as well as the administration and the Board. As a graduate of Hanover High School, Tim is familiar with our community and we look forward to his leadership as we endeavor to build upon the great programs at Richmond Middle School."
When asked about his pending transition during a recent visit to the school, Mr. Boyle said, “I am thrilled to be coming home to the Richmond Middle School. I want to thank the staff and students for making me feel so welcome this past week and can’t wait to return. I am honored to be able to build on the great work of Principal Mike Lepene and to continue the RMS legacy of excellence.”
Mr. Boyle will officially take the lead role at Richmond Middle School on July 1, 2019.
