District Bids Farewell to Business Administrator at Month’s End

District Bids Farewell to Business Administrator at Month’s End

After years of dedicated service, Jamie Teague, the Business Administrator for SAU 70, will be stepping down at the end of the month. Her departure marks the end of a significant chapter in the district’s financial leadership, as she prepares to transition the role to her announced successor, Teresa Taylor.

During her time with the district, Teague led with precision, integrity, and a deep commitment to fiscal responsibility. She was instrumental in guiding the district through budget cycles, funding changes, and long-term planning initiatives that have helped ensure the financial health of the schools.

Teresa Taylor, who currently serves as the SAU 70 Finance Director, will officially step into the position on May 1, 2025.  Bringing her experience as a Business Administrator from the Winchester School District, she is expected to continue the District’s focus on transparency, sustainability, and smart resource allocation.

Superintendent Badams shared, “We’re incredibly grateful for Jamie’s leadership and are excited to welcome Teresa into this important role. The District is in strong financial hands.”

As the district thanks Teague for her invaluable contributions, the entire school community looks forward to this new chapter in financial leadership.

Please be aware you’ll have a new voice for weather calls, but hopefully not until the next school year.  😃
