From the Superintendent
Dear SAU 70 School Community,
I'm pleased to report that Judge McCafferty ruled in our favor today and issued a preliminary injunction regarding new requirements relative to our federal funding. While I doubt that this will be the last word on the matter, I am hopeful that our local programs and policies will not have to be sacrificed in order to secure our eligibility for federal funds, and that our local school boards will maintain school governance authority within the framework of state law.
